Seven hours of climate change on CNN is a start
Democratic presidential candidates were given seven hours of CNN airtime to describe how they plan to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels.
Climate change affects all of humanity, and is a policy, not political, issue that needs to be addressed much more frequently in mainstream media. HR 763, the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act, is a bipartisan approach that will dramatically reduce use of fossil fuels without impacting our economy. A steadily rising fee on carbon fuels is distributed to all households as a monthly dividend that more than compensates for most family's increased energy costs.
To ensure that American businesses remain competitive, a border adjustment is applied to energy-intensive goods of any trading partner that hasn't adopted similar carbon pricing. This multiplies the effectiveness of the act.
