Learn about Medicare basics at Palatine Public Library District

Palatine Public Library District will host "Medicare Basics and You" from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19. Topics to be addressed includ eligibility, enrollment, costs, Medicare supplements, prescription drug plans, advantage plans and low-income assistance. Scheduled to lead the free session is Nancy Frenk, director of social services at the Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council.
