Comments on values apply to all our problems

Although the Randy Rossi, of Grayslake, submission "Mass shootings and the decline in morality and family values" recently published came before the recent Odessa, Texas, shootings, all the points made continue to be valid, today and all days.

The teaching of moral values should come through the family, supported by religious values which are eternal values. Our society and culture, instead champions moral relativism and political correctness, which sends the wrong message to all people, especially young people.

The false values reflected in the entertainment industry products and the way the advertisement presents its message contribute to this situation and these problems we are encountering today.
