Kane County

• A resident of the 1100 block of Rural Street near Aurora reported a burglary at 5:54 p.m. Thursday in which someone pushed in a window screen and stole $4,000 from a dresser drawer, according to a sheriff's report.

• A resident of the 6N300 block of Whitmore Drive near St. Charles reported a case of identity theft after learning someone in Virginia bought $311 in tires with the resident's debit card, according to a sheriff's report.

• A resident of the 6N600 block of Wyoming Avenue near St. Charles reported at 11:03 a.m. Sept. 6 that someone racked up $4,133 in charges on a phone account opened in December 2018 and closed in January 2019, according to a sheriff's report.
