Aurora man charged with possession of cannabis plants

An Aurora man was indicted Tuesday on a charge of unlawful possession of cannabis plants - 255 of them, according to DuPage County court records.

Vytautas S. Benosis, 57, of the 1200 block of Dunbarton Drive, was arrested Aug. 15 at his home. The case was investigated by agents from the DuPage Metropolitan Enforcement Group.

He is free on bond. His next court date is Oct. 24.
