Kudos to Walmart

I commend Walmart's decision to stop selling ammunition for assault-style weapons, handguns and short-barrel rifles, as well as their ban on open carry of firearms in their stores. This effort may not solve the bigger problem of gun violence in this country, but it's a step in the right direction, which is more than I can say for our legislative bodies, which seem to want to continue to kick the can down the road on gun violence.

I'm sure that not everyone favors the Walmart decision, but if you do, why not email corporate.walmart.com/store-corporate-feedback to let them know of your support. Perhaps if our government won't take a stand, more businesses will make corporate decisions to limit the sale of guns and ammo that is not typically used by sport hunters.
