Hear from state legislators at Barrington legislative breakfast
Local business leaders and the public are invited to hear firsthand updates from state legislators at the annual Barrington Area Legislative Breakfast.
The event will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Oct. 2, at The Garlands of Barrington, 1000 Garlands Lane in Barrington. Confirmed speakers include state Sens. Cristina Castro and Dan McConchie, along with Reps. Mary Edly-Allen and Anna Moeller.
A question-and-answer session will be part of the morning. Tickets are $10, which includes coffee and pastries, networking and the program. The breakfast will be hosted by the chamber, the Barrington Area Council of Governments and Barrington Area Unit District 220.
