Lower the voting age?
In a "Your Views" letter on Aug. 24, an argument was made in support of lowering the voting age to 16 because "students today are better educated than in past years."
Yet apparently those same students cannot be trusted to make good choices concerning their own health, since the legislature raised to 21 the age to buy smoking and vaping products. Let's not be too quick about lowering the voting age.
