Dundee-Crown 2, Deerfield 1: In a thrilling match at the Lake Forest Shootout that came down to penalty kicks, it was the Chargers (1-1) coming out victorious.
Roland Dearborn scored the first half goal for Dundee-Crown off an assist from Julian Saldana. The Chargers also allowed a goal in the first half and the two teams remained deadlocked through the second half.
After a 5-4 edge in PKs, it was Dundee-Crown with the win. Venancio Mejia saved 2 shots in goal for the Chargers, including what would have been the tying penalty kick.
