Grains lower, livestock higher.

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept. delivery was off .20 cents at $4.74 a bushel; Sept. corn fell 0.40 cent at $3.5720 a bushel; Sept. oats declined 11 cents at $2.5860 a bushel; while Sept. soybeans lost 4.80 cents at 8.4440 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Aug. live cattle was up .45 cent at $1.0535 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle rose .70 cent at $1.3870 a pound; Oct. lean hogs gained 1.30 cent at .6305 a pound.
