Shots fired at Round Lake Park house

More than a dozen shots were fired at a house on the 300 block of Forest Glen Drive on Saturday about 10:30 p.m., Round Lake Park police said in a news release Monday.

No one was injured but two shots hit a parked vehicle and the others struck the single-family house, police said. No arrests have been made in the case.

It marked the third incident at the house this year.

"Miraculously no one was hit. There were several individuals in the house including 3 infants," Chief George Filenko said in the release.

The owners of the house rent the property and have informed police the renters lease has been terminated, police said.
