Libertyville panel to discuss recreational pot sales Monday

The Libertyville plan commission will hold a hearing at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26 to receive public comment on whether or not the village should allow the sale and/or crop production of marijuana for recreational use.

The meeting will be held at the Libertyville Civic Center, 135 W. Church St.

The commission will offer recommendations to the village board, which will make a final decision on the matter.
