District 25 superintendent gets one-year contract extension
Arlington Heights Elementary District 25 Superintendent Lori Bein has received a one-year contract extension and 2% raise, keeping her at the helm of the district through June 2022.
Bein, hired by the district in 2014 on an initial three-year contract, received a three-year extension in 2017 and one-year extension in 2018.
Bein's base salary for this school year is $217,407. With a cafeteria plan, vehicle allowance, employer-paid insurance benefits and contribution to the Teachers' Retirement System, her total compensation is $253,426.
"We are excited to offer this extension to Superintendent Dr. Bein," said school board President Brian Cerniglia following the board's Aug. 15 vote on the extension. "We believe in her and believe in the direction of District 25. This district represents the Arlington Heights community well under Dr. Bein's leadership."
