'Explore Palatine' returns Sept. 14

The Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 2nd annual "Explore Palatine" event on Saturday, Sept. 14.

The villagewide event encourages area residents to think local as they shop, explore and dine.

Palatine-based businesses, as well as members of the Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce, will be offering incentives, including a variety of discounts, giveaways and entertainment. For a complete list participating businesses and offers, visit ExplorePalatine.org.

"Palatine area residents are invited to support the Palatine community; the goal of initiative is to help everyone understand the positive impact this type of effort can have on the village," said PACC Director Steven Gaus. "By putting this spotlight on our treasured businesses and organizations, we are all working together to strengthen the entire community."

Explore Palatine is an outgrowth of PACC's 'Think Local' campaign. It is free, and open to all Palatine businesses (chamber of commerce members or not). Any business located in Palatine can register at no cost at ExplorePalatine.org through Sept. 9.
