Open house-style meeting on state project in Gurnee scheduled for Tuesday

The Lake County Division of Transportation is hosting a public hearing to discuss a road project at Stearns School Road and US 41 in Gurnee. Those interested in learning more about the project and providing feedback to officials may drop by anytime between 5 and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at Seventh-Day Adventist School, 2190 N. Fuller Road in Gurnee. The meeting will be conducted in an informal, open house format. Exhibits will be on display and a video presentation will played on a loop. Lake County transportation staff and project representatives will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.
