Grains mixed, livestock lower.
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Sept. delivery rose 2 cents at $4.7240 a bushel; Sept. corn was up e.4 cents at $3.6460 a bushel; Sept. oats gained 3.2 cents at $2.7740 a bushel; while Sept. soybeans lost 2.2 cents at 8.6620 a bushel.
Beef, pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Aug. live cattle was off .21 cent at $1.0077 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle fell .28 cent at $1.3622 a pound; Oct. lean hogs lost .07 cent at .6590 a pound.
