Rally for the Cure event at Randall Oaks golf course a huge success

It was a beautiful golf day at Randall Oaks Golf Course in West Dundee where the Hit or Misses Ladies Golf League hosted a "Rally for the Cure" event on Aug. 7.

Fifty-three golfers shared the day with an 18-hole scramble, wearing pink and decorating their golf carts with pink attire.

This was the league's 20th year of raising money for this event.

Many of the members have been affected personally by breast cancer and it means a lot for them to participate in this fundraiser. The event raised $3,000, all of which was donated to Susan G. Komen, local chapter.
