2 injured in Des Plaines crash

Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash in Des Plaines Thursday evening, authorities said.

First responders were called to the scene at about 5:53 p.m. after a crash involving three vehicles, according to Battalion Chief Bill Rice of the Des Plaines Fire Department. Two people were taken to a nearby hospital. The nature of the crash and extent of their injuries were not disclosed.
