This year's events include:

• Canoe Battleship: 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, for teams of four.

• Sand Volleyball: 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, for teams of six.

The following events are flex time events, which means participants can select the time that works best for them during Sept. 12-14:

• Escape Room, for teams of four.

• Closest to the Pin, for teams of three.

• Climb the Wall, for teams of three.

The Foglia YMCA, 1025 N. Old McHenry Road, Lake Zurich, is a nonprofit, mission-driven organization focused on inclusion. It works to ensure that community members and families are able to access its facility and essential programming, regardless of their ability to pay.

"We live that value by providing more than $3 million in financial assistance since our inception in 2000 to support our neighbors in need," organizers of the event said.

In 2018, the Foglia YMCA was able to provide financial assistance to ensure no one was turned away from the center. More than 200 families were able to access the Y because of its financial assistance program.
