We need civility from our president

We should stop labeling President Donald Trump as racist, sexist, etc. This rhetoric covers up the deeper problem in his behavior. He has less civility than a playground bully in grade school. This is exhibited in at least three ways.

First, his attacks on his political adversaries are personal rather than focusing on policy issues and solutions. This was evident in the 2016 campaign and has continued to the present.

Second, his intimidating style has led to the most turnover in key positions in the Cabinet and his staff of any president in modern time.

Third, this lack of civility is very evident in foreign relations. He unilaterally withdrew from the Paris Climate Accord, the Iran Nuclear Agreement and the Trans-Pacific trade negotiations. He uses the weapon of tariffs to "negotiate" with Europe, Canada and Mexico. Only bullies threaten their friends.

In my opinion, President Donald Trump gets the lowest possible failing grade in "Does Not Play Well With Others." We should hope that the results in the 2020 election will return civility to Washington.
