Break the silence

In regards to state Sen. Cullerton's indictment, state Rep. Wehrli posted on his Facebook page that, "The silence from the left is deafening. Innocence until proven guilty is for a court of law, not a minimum bar to clear to hold elected office. Ethics always matters."

I would like to share my comments here. I find Rep. Wehrli's silence on the conduct and ethics violations committed by the head of his political party deafening. The hypocrisy to decry "silence from the left" less than an hour after a story broke after hearing only silence from him over the last two years about his own party's ethical failings is maddening.
