Refusing to walk away from Illinois
Thank you to Adam Didech and Emily Young for standing up for Illinois and speaking to Republican Party sponsored Charlie Kirk spewing his hate rhetoric against the great state of Illinois.
My husband and I moved here from Cleveland, Ohio in 1976, and we still say, "it was the best move we ever made." Our children have benefited greatly from the quality of their public school education.
I only hope that someday when Charlie has children of his own that he won't be able to afford private schools and that they will have to attend the public schools in Florida.
Just as Trump said, "if you don't like it here, you can leave," and that is exactly what Charlie did. I say, Good Riddance, Charlie!
