Kane County

• An Illinois state identification card and Social Security card were stolen between 12:01 a.m. and 11 a.m. Wednesday from a vehicle parked near Seventh and Sumner avenues near Aurora, according to a sheriff's report.

• A resident of the 5N0-99 block of Grove Avenue near St. Charles reported at 2:10 p.m. July 27 that his boat, which was raised out of the water at the dock, had been vandalized with its windows broken and the dashboard and hull struck with a sharp object, according to a sheriff's report.
