Mundelein man pleads not guilty to sexually abusing two girls

A Mundelein man accused of sexually abusing two girls pleaded not guilty before a Lake County judge Thursday.

Breon D. Dixon, 39, of the 1400 block of Downing Place, is charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim younger than 13 years old in two separate cases that occurred in 2016, according to court records. He is also charged with one count of unlawful restraint.

Dixon remains held at the Lake County jail and is scheduled to go before Judge Mark Levitt for a case management hearing Aug. 23.

Dixon was indicted by a grand jury July 24 and his bail was set at $500,000, meaning he would need to post a $50,000 bond to be released from jail.
