Cedar Lake Road to close at Round Lake rail crossing August 7

Cedar Lake Road at the railroad crossing north of Route 134 in Round Lake will be closed to through traffic beginning at 6 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7.

The closing will allow Metra to repair the crossing, which is scheduled to reopen late afternoon on Wednesday, Aug. 14.

The detour route is Route 134 northwest to Hart Road and east to Cedar Lake Road. Visit www.lakecountypassage.com for more information.
