Golf benefit for Old Number One fire engine Aug. 6

The annual golf outing fundraiser for the Old Number One fire engine will be held at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, at the Village Green golf course, 2501 N. Midlothian Road, Mundelein.

Registration begins at 7 a.m. Cost is $80 per golfer which includes 18 holes of golf, cart and lunch. Participants will have many chances to win prizes and awards.

The Old Number One Fire Truck Preservation Committee relies solely on donations to maintain and preserve the 1925 Stoughton fire engine, which will be turning 94. For more information, call Bob Stadlman at (847) 456-6723.
