Christian concern for the less fortunate
After hearing our priest read the story of the Good Samaritan last Sunday, it spoke to me of all the unfortunate people at our southern border waiting to get in in order to provide a better life for their families. How can anyone call him/herself a Christian and ignore Christ's teaching? Not too long ago, you would see the letters WWJD (What Would Jesus Do?) on various objects. The Jesus I know would welcome in the less fortunate.
