All American Reclaim opens Lake Barrington location

What's billed as a major supplier of reclaimed wood has opened in Lake Barrington.

All American Reclaim owner Andy Michaelis said Monday that a grand opening is planned for September. All American Reclaim is operating in the former Pasquesi Home and Garden off Northwest Highway at Pepper Road. The business closed its Crystal Lake operation in favor of the much larger Lake Barrington building.

All American touts itself as one of the Midwest's largest suppliers of reclaimed lumber and barn wood. The company salvages old barns and other structures, then preserves the materials and sells them to homeowners and contractors. It has roughly 23,000 square feet of indoor space in Lake Barrington, with 3½ more acres available for the business outside,
