Budget talk in District 128

Libertyville-Vernon Hills Area High School District 128 officials will hold a special board meeting Aug. 12 to discuss the proposed budget for the 2020 fiscal year. The meeting is set for 6 p.m. at Vernon Hills High School, 145 N. Lakeview Parkway. A review of the proposed spending plan will occur, and audience members will be allowed to share opinions. No budget details have been released yet. The fiscal year began July 1. The school board typically approves the annual budget in August. The board adopted a roughly $106 million budget for the 2019 fiscal year.
