Critics should be grateful for Mueller's sense of honor
While I realize politics is somewhat subjective, facts shouldn't be. Thus, the letter by Laslo Stephan might have been labeled as subjective dreams.
If I might:
1. Mr. Mueller is and has been a Republican, not usually an adversary.
2. The "Justice' Department that was in charge of his investigation declared before he started that a sitting president couldn't be indicted. Hence, he wasn't indicted.
3. The report did, however, detail some 10 times that the candidate or his election team did conduct themselves in an indictable manner. They were constrained by the preordained ban of the Justice Department.
4. Mr. Mueller repeatedly avoided language that would have violated that department's said ban.
5. At no time did Mr. Mueller ever indicate that Trump or his election team were innocent.
Instead of vilifying Mueller the president's supporters should be thrilled that Mueller's sense of honor (however misplaced I feel it is) has kept him silent.
As an aside, the $30 million spent only amounts to seven-plus weekends at Mara Lago. I think inconsequential in comparison.
