CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Sept. delivery rose 1.4 cents at $4.9560 a bushel; Sept. corn lost 5.5 cents at $4.1660 a bushel; Sept. oats was off 2.4 cents at $2.6120 a bushel; while Aug. soybeans gained 3.6 cents at 8.8860 a bushel.
Beef was mixed and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Aug. live cattle was up .02 cent at $1.0907 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle fell .27 cent at $1.4320 a pound; Aug. lean hogs lost .62 cents at .8645 a pound.
