More research needed on global cooling

As of Jan. 22, U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez declared: "We're, like, the world is going to end in 12 years if we don't address climate change." According to The Washington Post, AOC's chief of staff recently stated that: "The interesting thing about the Green New Deal (GNB) is it wasn't originally a climate thing at all." Then, further: "Because we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing."

No, the lie of the "GND" justified the end of complete government control via socialism; not to address climate change.

Earth is about 4.5 billion years old, with historical periods of both warming and cooling, making today's referenced 50-, or 100-year time periods insignificant.

The most material driver of planet heat and cold has been the sun. Scientists believe the sun cycles about every 11 years. We're currently starting a solar minimum, meaning sunspot/solar flare activity diminishes, or stops, causing global cooling.

The last prolonged solar minimum, a mini Ice Age lasting 70 years, is known as the Maunder Minimum (1645-1715) during which freezing caused failed crops. NASA is effectively forecasting a return to the Dalton Minimum (1790-1830). By 1816, the climate was dominating headline news as both spring and then summer failed to arrive. Clothes froze on the line in New England. Ice on ponds and lakes was reported in northwestern Pennsylvania in both July and August. Virginia had frosts in August. The temperature occasionally got into the 90s°F, but then would drop to nearly freezing in just a few hours. Crops that had managed to sprout were frozen out in early June, replanted, and frozen again in July. Food/grain prices skyrocketed.

Global cooling warrants further attention/research. The end-of-world scenario will be expedited by a nuclear exchange, causing global Winter. That makes removal, and prevention of nuclear weapons from North Korea/Iran the highest priority.
