Sign up now for College of DuPage's fall new student orientation Aug. 6-8
The College of DuPage welcomes new students to fall term during three new student orientation sessions on Tuesday to Thursday, Aug. 6-8, in the McAninch Arts Center lobby, on the college's main campus, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.
The new student orientation at COD provides an opportunity for students and parents to learn about college life; meet with faculty, staff and current students; tour the campus; and receive input on making the most of their educational experience at COD.
Sessions run 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day and begin with check-in and free welcome bags. Lunch is provided.
A welcome session for new students begins at 9 a.m. Please arrive 30 minutes early prior to the welcome session to check-in. Receive your free welcome bag and an opportunity to speak with departmental representatives and learn more about clubs, organizations and leadership opportunities on campus. It is a great time to ask any questions you might have!
Attendees also receive information about a variety of topics, including financial aid, student life and student services.
New students should see an advisor and register for fall 2019 classes before attending an orientation session.
From 2:25 to 3:30 p.m., there will be a prize drawing featuring giveaways and more information on kicking off the school year! During the ice cream social, you will have an opportunity to speak with departmental representatives and learn more about clubs, organizations and leadership opportunities on campus. This is an opportunity to ask any last-minute questions you might have!
