Rosemont's Impact Field tops 'best of' list two years in a row

Impact Field in Rosemont has been named Best Independent Ballpark for the second consecutive year in Ballpark Digest's annual Best of the Ballparks fan vote.

The 6,300-seat stadium that is home to the Chicago Dogs bested The Depot at Cleburne, home of the Texas-based Cleburne Railroaders, in the bracket-style balloting among 32 venues. The $63 million village-owned stadium opened in May 2018 at the intersection of Balmoral Avenue and Pearl Street, west of the Tri-State Tollway.

Nearly 125,000 fans voted in the competition.
