Bartlett police announce two promotions

Bartlett police have announced the promotions of Scott Yarwood to the rank of commander and Thomas Alagna to the rank of sergeant.

Yarwood has been with the Bartlett Police Department for 25 years. He was promoted to the rank of sergeant in 2007 and most recently served as the detective sergeant. He will now serve as one of the commanders of the patrol division.

Alagna has been with the department for 11 years. He has served as a crime prevention officer, D.A.R.E. instructor and detective. He will be one of the sergeants in the patrol division.
