Portillo's will observe National Hot Dog Week with clothing line, free delivery

Portillo's is celebrating National Hot Dog Week in style by unveiling a new clothing line and offering free delivery July 15-21.

The apparel line, 1963 - named for the company's inaugural year - will offer colorful prints with classic menu items such as the chocolate cake, french fries, cheeseburger, hot dog and chocolate cake shake, according to a news release from Portillo's.

The chain is offering free delivery at all locations on orders of at least $10 placed on portillos.com, the release said.

"There is nothing we love more than honoring our iconic Chicago-style hot dog," Portillo's CEO Michael Osanloo said. "Even after 56 years, our hot dogs remain true to that which were once served out of the original hot dog stand, The Dog House."
