Women should stand up for Betsy Ross
Betsy Ross, a revolutionary woman, was asked to create a flag that would be a symbol of the united colonies. This woman, not a man, created, out of nothing, an item that became a symbol for freedom. She might very well be the first nonpolitical female mentioned in the history books. She was a wife, working mother and entrepreneur. Betsy Ross should be honored not banished and accused of crimes against humanity. Where are the women who should be protesting her exclusion.
