Reports don't respect public servants

Daily Herald headlines of June 20 and June 30 reveal the opinion that Jake Griffin and the editors have of public servants. The Daily Herald continues to cry about public servant pensions. Is this envy?

Jake Griffin and editors, who plows the snow from the street you live on? Who might need to perform lifesaving techniques to save you some day? Who taught you to read? Are your children home schooled? What if you need a fireman or a police officer? All of these public servants are on call 24/7 to serve and protect your family and all of your friends. Yet, you continue to criticize public servants' pensions.

Do you think military veterans deserve pensions? I am surprised you have not gone after Sen. Duckworth and her benefits. Will that be your next headline?
