Masterful balancing act

Oh, Chief Justice Roberts, I must congratulate you on your latest, successful tightrope act. You gracefully exercised a dazzling, political pirouette regarding the two important cases upon which the Supreme Court just ruled.

It is too bad that you sacrificed justice and voted with the conservatives on the court that aided in delivering a blow to democracy by declaring that the issue of gerrymandering is not federal business. I ask you, is not the maintaining of democracy the business of the Supreme Court? Is not fairness of law the business of the Supreme Court?

And then you nimbly rotated your one-legged stance by rotating 180 degrees and casting the deciding vote against placing the citizenship on the 2020 Census form. A brilliant maneuver to maintain your clever, balancing act.
