Study our neighbors
In response to an article about gas prices on July 2: I happened to be in the St. Louis area on June 29 and purchased gas at the same brand of station in your article. They only charged $2.23 per gallon. I also noticed how smooth their roads were, unlike here.
As we as a state are about to embark on a massive infrastructure overhaul, maybe they should form a committee to find out what they do differently in other states to have consistently better roads so at least we can have some value for all this extra tax money we're paying.
