The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) was labeled in a letter recently as "controversial," but who or what is the controversy about? Please read the long history of this civil-rights powerhouse to get the complete story.

Begun in 1971 defending the civil rights of KKK victims, they've continuously been out in front, forming the wall between (more) hate groups and freedom-loving Americans. Unfortunately, we must be prepared to hear more grumbling from the ones in those movements when their true manifests are uncovered.
