Aces use balanced scoring to beat Sky 90-82

LAS VEGAS - A'ja Wilson, Liz Cambage and Kayla McBride all scored 16 points to lead a balanced offense as Las Vegas beat Chicago 90-82 on Tuesday in a matinee game.

Cambage also had nine rebounds and seven assists for the Aces (8-5). Dearica Hamby and Kelsey Plum added 14 points each.

Trailing 80-78 midway through the fourth quarter, the Aces closed the game on a 12-2 run. Wilson had six points in the game-ending run as the Sky missed their last 10 shots.

Allie Quigley scored 18 points and Courtney Vandersloot had 12 assists for Chicago (6-7), which has dropped four straight.

"We gave them too many points in the paint. It seemed like they were getting layups at the end and we were missing jumpers. We had to many defensive miscues on back screens and plays that we knew they were going to run. Their post players were big down the stretch, our post players

played them tough the first 35 minutes," Quigley said.

"We have to stay together. I always tell them that this is going to happen, this is the name of the league. Just as easy as you can win four games you can lose three in a row. We just got to get back on the winning streak, regroup, and go home. Our next game is at home, it's a good chance for us to regroup and get back on a streak."

Vandersloot tallied 12 assists, tying Tamika Catchings for seventh on the WNBA all-time assists list. Vandersloot has done it in just 252 career games, while Catchings played 457 career games.
