The Cubs' Adbert Alzolay (1-0) vs. Trevor Williams (2-2) Monday at 6:05 p.m.; Kyle Hendricks (7-5) vs. Joe Musgrove (6-7) Tuesday at 6:05 p.m.; Yu Darvish (2-4) vs. Chris Archer (3-6) Wednesday at 6:05 p.m. Jose Quintana (5-7) vs. Jordan Lyles (5-4) Thursday at 3:05 p.m.

At a glance:

This series concludes a stretch of 17 games in 17 days for the Cubs. They will have an off-day Friday before playing the White Sox on the South Side in the final two games before all-star break. Hendricks will come off the injured list (shoulder) to pitch Tuesday. For the Pirates, Archer has been day to day with left-hip discomfort. Lyles (hamstring) will come off the IL to pitch the Fourth of July finale. The Cubs took two of three from the Pirates in April at Wrigley Field. This is their first foray into Pittsburgh this year. The Pirates' Josh Bell entered Sunday with a line of .303/.375/.629 with 22 home runs and 70 RBI.
