Three-vehicle Arlington Heights crash sends two to hospital

A three-vehicle crash Monday in Arlington Heights sent two people to the hospital, officials said.

Police responded about 4:50 p.m. to South Arlington Heights Road and Golf Road after a westbound vehicle made a left turn and was struck by an eastbound vehicle, according to Arlington Heights police Sgt. James McGrath.

The impact sent the eastbound vehicle into a third vehicle leaving a parking lot in the nearby Arlington Towne Square shopping center.

Paramedics took two people to the hospital with minor injuries, according to Arlington Heights fire Lt. David Strojny.
