Three hurt in Elk Grove Village crash

Three people were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Elk Grove Village, officials said.

Elk Grove Village firefighters were dispatched to West Touhy Avenue and Elmhurst Road about 4:10 p.m., according to Battalion Chief Mark Percudani.

The three crash victims, who included a mother and son, suffered minor injuries, Percudani said.
