Lung cancer needs awareness

I was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer on June 28, 2018 - one year ago last week. If you are blaming me, please stop. I never smoked. In fact, over 60% of people with lung cancer never smoked, or they quit smoking more than 10 years ago.

You may be shocked to learn that lung cancer has been the leading cancer killer of women since 1987, killing almost one and a half times as many women as breast cancer.

I am angry that financial support for research to cure lung cancer is tragically behind all other cancers, because of the false perception that we victims are to blame. I want to live. Please help my chances by supporting research for lung cancer whenever you get a chance. Please support me and all of my lovely new friends suffering from this deadly disease. Please help us to live.
