Allstate to sponsor Salute, Inc. race at Arlington Park

Allstate has been announced as the title sponsor of the Salute Inc.'s Homestretch for Heroes race Tuesday, Aug. 6, at Arlington International Racecourse.

The 6:30 p.m. event includes a 5K twilight walk/run and 1-mile run that ends with a big party in the park. As the host sponsor, Arlington has donated the use of the racetrack and surrounding grounds for the event.

Registration is open for runners at saluteinc.org/events/homestretch-for-heroes-5k.

The Palatine-based nonprofit raises funds to help meet the financial, physical and emotional needs of injured military service members, veterans and their families.
