Learn about Wauconda-area history at summer open houses

The Wauconda Township Historical Society will hold open houses every Sunday in July and August.

Activities will run from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Cook House, 711 N. Main St., Wauconda. Additionally, an ice cream and pie social is set for Aug. 25 from 1 to 4 p.m.

Admission is free.
