Free Fourth of July concert at Barrington's White House
Docents in period costumes will provide tours of Barrington's White House after the village's Fourth of July parade.
The tours of the historic home on Main Street in downtown Barrington will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 4.
At 11:30 a.m., the Chris Walz Bluegrass Players will stage a free concert. Walz is a teacher at Chicago's Old Town School of Music. He has toured as Woody Guthrie and performed at notable venues such as Buddy Guy's Legends and House of Blues.
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at Barrington High School and run east down Main Street.
