Steamin' Up Summer Art Camp:

Calling all artists, scientists, engineers and math lovers. Young Rembrandts has a new workshop filled with new ways your child can explore the fascinating world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math). This five-day workshop will dive into a new discipline every day so that all children learn their possibilities. Students will illustrate different types of sciences, new technologies, incredible feats of engineering and striking math principles - all while creating crazy awesome art. Your child's brain is growing every day. Register now. This camp will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday-Friday, July 8-12, at the Municipal Annex. The cost is $170 for residents and $190 for nonresidents.

Cooking and Baking Art Camp:

During these five, fun-filled days, young chefs and artists will join forces to cook up one of the tastiest workshops yet. Young Rembrandts students will learn to illustrate the thing we all love to do - eat! Students will draw, decorate, build and color everything in the kitchen that relates to cooking and baking. Drawings will include funny kitchen cartoons, detailed still life scenes and delicious details to make them complete. Prepare for artwork that looks good enough to eat! Register your artistic chef now! This class will be held from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, July 8-12, at the Municipal Annex. The cost is $170 for residents and $190 for nonresidents.

Fantasy Forest Art Camp:

Magical, mythical, marvelous art is coming your way in this Young Rembrandts Drawing Workshop! Join us for five days filled with fun and creative thought as we explore deep in the Fantasy Forest. Students will tap into their imagination while learning to draw otherworldly creatures like fairies, trolls and a forest queen. Your child's talent will truly enchant you as they create beautiful scenery and new masterpieces every day. Register now to save your child's spot in this fanciful workshop focused on creativity and whimsy! This class will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, July 8-12, at the Municipal Annex. The cost is $135 for residents and $155 for nonresidents.

Volleyball Camp: Volleyball is a fast-paced game. Coaches will work on passing, setting, serving, offensive/defensive strategies and improving footwork. Teamwork is emphasized. This camp will run 4 to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday, July 9-12, for 7- to 9-year-olds and 6 to 8 p.m. for 10-13-year-olds at Pottawatomie Community Center. The cost is $96 for residents and $106 for nonresidents.

Floor Hockey Skills Camp:

Learn the proper mechanics of stick handling, puck control, passing and shooting while you get a great workout from the speed and agility drills. Focus on balance and stamina while working on game knowledge and mechanics. Review offensive and defensive strategies. Teamwork, good sportsmanship and rules will be emphasized. Bring a water bottle, shin guards, bike helmet and any type of gloves to cover fingers. This camp will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday-Friday, July 8-12, for 5- to 8 -year-olds at Persinger Rec Center in Geneva. The cost is $96 for residents and $106 for nonresidents.

Jr. Floor Hockey Camp:

Played the same way as ice hockey without the skates! This fast-paced, exciting sport can be played by an skill level in almost any setting. Learn the proper mechanics of stick handling, puck control, passing and shooting. Review offensive and defensive strategies while focusing on safety. Teamwork and good sportsmanship will be emphasized. Bring a water bottle, shin guards, bike helmet and any type of gloves to cover fingers. This camp will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, July 8-12, for 5- to 8-year-olds at Persinger Rec Center in Geneva. The cost is $96 for residents and $106 for nonresidents.
